Having recently transitioned from the non-profit world into fulltime Salesforce work, it’s important to me to stay connected in our local non-profit community. This past weekend, I organized 4 teams of Salesforce volunteers for PGH Givecamp, a weekend ‘code-a-thon’ where area developers, designers, consultants and other volunteers work a 40-hour sprint to execute entire IT projects.
With a Friday night requirements and design marathon chased by two full days of building, testing, training, and deployment, its slightly controlled, mostly chaos. This year we completed four projects, creating solutions for Rukmini Foundation, Pittsburgh Center for Creative Reuse, Bach Choir of Pittsburgh and Holy Family Institute.
Check out the video below to see some of the great work we did and thanks to all the volunteers who helped on these projects!
